This was the first time ordering from BaliBuffalo - we needed a cultural art piece that would fit properly into a large niche in the house that we are currently building, so Parda searched to find the perfect massive skull for us (generally, they carve items to order, to be similar to what is shown; we needed to know the exact item that we would receive, to be sure that it would fit). The carving is almost impossibly complex - I don't know how they keep track of the design as they draw, and then carve it, but the result is elaborate, hand-crafted, world-class carving beveled deep into the bone and horns, creating an intricate pattern of curves and shadows. Our friends are in awe of the craftsmanship; every time I walk by it, I stop and look. We feel so honored to have this shop's work featured in our home.

I am happy with the quality and it’s very cool and unique. However the color did not match what was pictured. Mine was much darker. The picture that was advertised was a generic picture, it’s not the exact one that is shipped. I wanted to return mine for the color that was pictured but was unsuccessful.
